IELTS writing task 2: gender difference

Question:Men and Women are different in terms of their characters and liabilities. For this reason, some jobs are better done by men and others by women. Do you agree or disagree?
Gender different treatment is always a sensitive but common topic to every one. Specially in recent days, as more and more women claim that they were treated unfair in their career, the whole society start to talk if men and women should have the exactly same opportunities in every filed of job. In my opinion, the answer is we can not totally ignore the gender difference and make every body doing the same work and heaps of facts proved that men are performed better in some field while women in the others.

First, their physical diversities determine that they will play different roles in their family, specially when they have children. Since the stone age, women are in charge of more house work such as,take care of children and cooking, while men are hunting for food outside as they are stronger. It is nature in blood and no body could deny it. If women also go out for hunting, their children would be caught by other animals. The same theory in the modern world, although we don't need to worry about the wild animals anymore, however, other risks such as alcohol and drags are even more dangerous. In Asian countries, women usually quit their jobs and become a housewife after they get married. The fact is their teenager criminal ratio is much lower than other countries which parents are both have jobs.

In addition, some job are more suit for certain gender, for example women usually have a better performance in nursing, because they are more patient and sensitive. therefore it seems easier to get promotion in this job for women. A survey reveal that men prefer science subjects while women are more like arts and usually people tend to be succeed in their Favorite fields.

overall, I am highly agree that men and women should play different roles in society.

IELTs writing task2: Tourism

Question: International tourism is now more common than ever before some feel that this is a positive trend while others do not. What are your opinions on this.

Travelling abroad is not a strange phenomenon these days. Because of the lower transportation cost and various convenient travelling methods, international tourism is accepted by more and more families for their holidays. Most of the travellers believe it is a positive trend for both tourist countries and destination countries. However, others point out some problems brought by international tourism such as pollution. In my opinion, although both sides are affected in this process, the positive influences are more significant than the negative.

Firstly, international tourism has raised economy of destination countries. since the tourism industry has brought huge taxation income and generated a lot of job opportunities, many developing countries choose it as a key industry to rise their economy. Moreover, tourism, as a service industry, does not need either huge investment or high technology which means it is quite easy to access. Not only natural resource but also culture could be treated as a resource to attract tourist from other countries. For instance, Thailand, as a tropical country, not only has beautiful beaches but also for their cultural ceremonies and traditional dances.

Secondly, compared to the secondary industries such as mining, chemical industries which may lead an irrevocable damage, tourism is more environmentally friendly. Some people claim that tourist will generate more rubbish in the national reserves while they travel but I believe by using a systematic recycle system and some awareness, the pollution can be limited at a reasonable level.

Thirdly, international travel can widen the tourist horizon and give them a chance to understand other's culture. To some degree, it also increases the inter mixing of different cultures, which you could tell from the appearance and behaviours of the local people. Travelling to another country would give you a deeper understanding of the place which is hard to get from books and documentaries.

Overall, I believe travelling abroad will be a widely enjoyed activity in the next few years. Therefore, if you have not had an overseas experience, please do not hesitate to start a new journey on your next holiday.

real Chinese economy

Everybody in the world is a witness  to the amazing growth of Chinese economy in last decade. China has a large scale economy with an exceptional stable growth for more than 10 years, specially during the economic crisis of 2009.8% GDP growth caught the whole world's sight. However as a Chinese, I am not very proud of this growth because I know how the government created their GDP numbers and I can not expect it as consistent growth. The government has taken too much from their people, specially from the poor.

The beginning of the economic growth was from security market during 2005-2007. Like other developed countries China has an extremely bullish market and people invested their money in the security market pool hoping to make a huge profit. The fact is most of them do not know any risk of the share market. Before 2005, 95% of the money goes to the bank savings which seems to be the only investment way at that time.I was working in a bank at that time therefore i know even the bank staff was under estimated the risk by selling high risky fund to the poor people who use the money for their consumption. everybody was crazy about stock market until the middle of 2008 when the economic crisis start in china. millions of the poor people were told that they can not get their principles from the bank, the bank was an agent of selling fund. I was in charge for dealing with those people who complained to our bank. To be honest, a lot of people signed the contract by trusting of our bank and that is just their weakness, I could pay nothing remedy to them because they have sighed the contract by themselves, however I also knows that a significant amount of the contract was sighed by misleading or some degrees of  cheating from our staffs. some of our clients can not pay the operation fees for their families, some of them were homeless because they can not afford the rent. I feel I was like a killer who kill all the hope from them even i didn't mean to do that.
until several people were suicide, government found it is not looks good, they start to pay principle to some of them.and try to stop this economy crisis by rising the real estate price. that could be another big mistake. Because the huge profit was too attractive to the local government.
China was in a economic crisis for sure, the reason why we can not see it is because it was covered by the real estate bubbles. Some people might ask how? the reason may sound weired to the westerner but Chinese government does use re-building to generate GDP. The owner ship of the land is not belongs to anybody but government, which means the government can throw the people out of their home at any time they want and re-build a new one with higher price. I m not kidding, they really ignore any human right and make millions people become homeless. some people died in the frighting for their families and others was arrested.
Now, a lot of people choose to rent house instead of buying a so called "real estate" because they are not sure if some time later their house will be rebuilt again. government can not rob money from real estate, then they think about inflation. I m not sure if they mean to do that, but according to the frequently reporting on different media, i m pretty sure the government knows what is happening right now and they doing nothing.
in the last quarter of 2010, most of the food price has been increased more than 50% however, the statistic department of china said the CPI was just rose 3.5%. what a joke!
i m wondering what will happen next? will the government paid for their wrong decisions later. and where the chinese economy will go?

new start

i have been stay in Australia for about 9 months, which means i m away form home for 9 months. if you ask me do i feel home sick? maybe, i miss the food most! thanks to the new technology of internet, i could call my parents or video chart with them  at any time i want. therefore, i m not really feel home sick.
moreover, i just finished my final exam of semester 2, which i have prepared for more than one month. that was a busy time for me, not only for the exam but also for heaps of assignments. i was doubt if i made a right decision to study abroad? because i m already 26 years old and use to be a bank manager in a good national bank earning a reasonable salary, but now i m a international student, who has nothing but a old luggage from china. i don't know where i will be and what i will do in the future. some people said the beauty of future is just the unknown. i m not sure, but as when i saw a lot of my friends have established their own family and enjoyed the life with their with their relatives, my parents still need to work hard for my tuition fees and waiting for me in front of the internet just to say "hi", i feel guilty deep in my heart. chinese culture is different from western, people are not independent enough, special in a family. usually the parents' life is for their children before the kids grow up, on the other hand, kids should take care of their parents' retire life.
any way, since i have chosen to study in australia, there is no alternative choice but study hard and get a better life here. i was glad to see my academic results in the past 2 semester compare to my classmate. however, i know that only a good academic result is far away from a better life. i have to do more.
first thing came to my mind is the language, although i got ielts 6 before i came here, i relised even ielts 8 can not make me speaking like a australian. the main problem is knowledge! yesterday, i was watching news with my boyfriend, i was always wondering why i can't understand news but TV episodes. he said you need to have some back ground about law system, sport, entertainment and so on. i asked my self, how many things i know about australia? almost nothing. i need time which is just i don't have. i have to use 2 years to absorb as much knowledge as i could. and waiting for a mystery. yes, only mystery can make my dream comes true.
i will give an ielts exam at the beginning of next year. therefore it is a new start for me in the next 2 months. i hope i won't let myself down. my aim is get four 7s.
